Movers Reduce Stress
My wife and I would like to thank Jason and his crew for the best move imaginable. The last mover we used ripped us off and did not fix the China cabinet they broke. I had to do it myself.
We were understandably apprehensive but Jason more than lived up to his word and made the whole experience much much less stressful. We will recommend Clarkes to anyone who asks who we used for our move. It’s nice to see that there are still some people out there with integrity.

Personable, Helpful & Respectful Movers
I wanted to write a letter on behalf of my husband and I regarding Clarke’s Household Moving. We found there to be so many things that we were impressed about, but the key ones were the following:
1. The initial meeting with Jason put our minds at ease. He was personable, and very helpful outlining the realities of the move, and being transparent about the costs
2. All of the movers took great care to wrap all of the furniture with blankets and there was no damage to the homes, nor the furniture
3. They provided good paperwork for us upfront, and at the end for our financial purposes
4. We found the movers to be kind and personable, and as well, they offered additional services after we moved in to help unpack
5. The move was an emotional one for us, and we found that having such courteous attention to our needs made all of the difference
6. They were able to move my piano that is my prize possession, and they did it in a manner that was very respectful
7. They phoned us back (Roberta was excellent). This sounds very simple, but so many businesses do not call back, or communicate effectively. Their people pick up the phone and call, and again, this means something to people

Protected My Precious Stuff
If you need to move your precious stuff:
I would advise you to contact Clarke’s Moving and Storage.
I learnt about Clarke’s because Jason and Roberta added their flyer to my mailbox when they learnt that my home was for sale. I phoned Roberta. She was informative and made an appointment for Jason to evaluate the move.
Jason explained that he is an experienced mover, having worked with his father for many years, and then he followed in his father’s footsteps. Jason examined my precious furniture and everything I wanted to move. Then he estimated the time required and the cost of the move. We decided on the best moving date.
On moving day, the movers arrived at the planned time, they packed quickly and carefully, and then they put all my precious stuff expertly in the moving van. They were finished early!
The next day, although Jason had arranged an arrival time for my precious stuff, I was reassured because I received a phone call confirming that all was well and that the movers were minutes away from my new home.
It was raining when the movers arrived. However, the movers had wrapped all my precious stuff and it was protected. Everything was moved quickly into place. Even complicated furniture, like my grandmother clock, was moved expertly.
I had a great experience. I would recommend Clarke’s Moving and Storage when you need to move.

Move Completed As Planned and On Budget
Thank you very much for the professionalism of your excellent moving team for our move two weeks ago. We were wary of the moving process after an exceptionally disastrous move from the lower mainland eight months ago with one of the big three nationwide companies. You and your hardworking staff have proven to us that a move can be completed as planned and promised, on budget and on time. We were impressed by the care and attention that your team gave to our goods with all furniture, pictures, and even small items being wrapped in quilts and well secured with tape. This did not happen with the previous company. Your team took amazing care in the moving of the larger items into our brand new home and not one scratch, scrape, or chip happened. On Time, Respectful and Efficient Movers

Clarke Household Moving & Storage has completed many move-ins for residents coming to live at Berwick here in Comox. In addition, I know you have been involved in some internal moves as residents have changed suites in the building.

Went Out of Their Way
Gathering up all your household possessions and moving them...not something anyone looks forward to. Newly retired, we decided to move closer to our grandchildren, making the difficult decision to move from the Kootenays to Vancouver Island. For six months we rented an apartment in Courtenay until finding the perfect home for us in Cumberland. The move from the interior to the island went smooth enough, but did not compare with our move to Cumberland with Clarke’s Household moving. The perspective of two moves in less than six months gave ample evidence of the difference(s) in the two moving companies.
When Clarke’s men arrived they made a point of greeting us, were always polite and worked most efficiently. Unlike the previous company, Clarke’s used special blanket covers to protect our furniture, even covered our mattress with a special protective covering. Everything remained clean, dry and undamaged. At our new home Clarke’s men went out of their way to put everything where we asked, even moved our couch around until my wife was satisfied.
Should we ever move again, I would not hesitate to call upon Clarke’s Househole Moving to move us, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say that my wife and I really appreciate the care and attention your team took with our move last week from Courtenay to Black Creek. The guys were very good at communicating with us and worked efficiently throughout the day. We have a few awkward pieces of furniture but nothing phased them and it all arrived to our new home exactly the way it left.
When we got to the new place there was some furniture left behind and the guys were great – they moved it wherever we needed so that we could organize everything just the way we like it!

Far Beyond Expectations
I am writing to express my gratitude to you and especially to your excellent employees Frank, Mike and Josh for facilitating my recent move with such expertise.
My move from Comox to Victoria was complicated with different loading dates from delivery dates, from a no step rancher to a three story townhouse, an early morning load in Comox and an early morning unload in Victoria. However, your staff made it all seem so simple, nothing was a problem and they could not have worked harder or been more careful with my possessions. I feel that they went far beyond my expectations which were pretty high.
Mike, Josh and Frank arrived on time to load, they were friendly and caring. Mike and Josh arrived in Victoria to unload three days later at 9 am sharp which was when I took possession. I have a great deal of large and extremely heavy furniture that they managed to transport up many, many stairs and place exactly where I wanted, even if I changed my mind once it was placed. They worked very hard all day without more than a 10 min. break, even though I kept encouraging them to rest and eat.
I cannot express my gratitude adequately in words. I felt as if extremely strong, hardworking and very caring family members were looking after me and my belongings. Please extend my thanks to them.
I would highly recommend your company to anyone who wishes to minimize the stress that any move especially an emotional and complicated one can have.
